Vietnam Cassava Association Mid-Term Conference (Term III: 2023 – 2028)
Mr. Le Huu Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam Cassava Association and Chairman of Hung Duy Group, recently participated in and contributed to key activities at the Mid-Term Conference for Term III (2023 – 2028) of the Vietnam Cassava Association. The event was held on October 31, 2025, at Saigon – Quy Nhon Hotel, Gia Lai Province, under the theme “Unity, Sharing and Development”.
- The conference brought together representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the People’s Committee of Gia Lai Province, as well as research institutes, agricultural extension centers, cooperatives, and enterprises across the cassava industry.
- International delegates included Mr. Hor Dareth, Trade Attaché of Cambodia to Vietnam, and Mr. Oknha Chray Son, President of the Cambodia Cassava Federation.
The conference reviewed mid-term performance for Term III, while providing a platform to discuss current challenges and share practical insights across the cassava value chain. Participants also proposed solutions to enhance production, processing, and market development efficiency. Strategic directions were outlined to strengthen the Association’s role in connecting and supporting businesses and localities, with the goal of building a sustainable and globally integrated cassava value chain for Vietnam.
