Launch of Solar Power Project at Hung Duy Starch Factory System in Tay Ninh
On November 22, 2025, at Ninh Dien Industrial Zone (Tay Ninh Province), the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Hung Duy Group and Tona Syntegra Solar (TSS Group) was held. The event marked the official launch of the solar power project across the Hung Duy Starch tapioca starch production factories in Tay Ninh, representing a significant milestone in Hung Duy Group’s green growth and sustainable development strategy, as well as within the tapioca starch manufacturing industry.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of leaders of the Ninh Dien Commune People’s Committee, Tay Ninh Power Company (EVN Tay Ninh), the Thai Binh Electricity Management Team, partners and distinguished guests, the leadership of both groups, plant directors, and representatives from various departments and units of Hung Duy Group and TSS Group.
At the event, Hung Duy Group officially announced TSS (a German group) as its strategic partner. Both parties conducted the signing ceremony and launched the implementation of the solar power project with a total capacity of 6,328 kWp, applying advanced technological solutions and adhering to European and American safety and technical standards.
Representing the investor, Mr. Le Huu Hung – Chairman of Hung Duy Group – expressed his sincere appreciation for the support of authorities at all levels, local leadership, TSS Group, partners, contractors, and all teams involved in ensuring the project’s timely launch. He emphasized that this project plays a significant role in the Group’s sustainable development orientation, aiming to optimize energy use in production, reduce emissions, lower operating costs, and enhance the overall efficiency of the production system, thereby contributing to the advancement of green economy, circular economy, and sustainable development.
Representing local authorities, Mr. Do Thanh Trung – Chairman of the Ninh Dien Commune People’s Committee – congratulated Hung Duy Group and highly appreciated the project’s significance. He affirmed the local authorities’ commitment to continuously accompany and support the enterprise to ensure the project is implemented in compliance with State regulations and achieves high effectiveness.
The cooperation project between Hung Duy Group and TSS Group stands as a pioneering milestone in applying advanced renewable energy technologies in production, promoting green transformation and environmental responsibility. It contributes to the development of Tay Ninh’s tapioca starch industry in particular, as well as Vietnam’s green economic value chain in the era of deep global integration.
