Founder
Mr. Le Huu Hung began his career as a teacher and was raised in a family with a long-standing tradition in cassava starch production. With dedication, passion, and strong business acumen, he has continuously applied advanced technologies and laid the foundation for the establishment and development of Hung Duy since 1994.
Guided by the philosophy “To succeed, one must first be virtuous,” Mr. Le Huu Hung places ethics at the core of all business practices. Throughout his leadership journey and contributions to society, he is regarded as a “Great Mentor” and a source of inspiration for the organization. In 2024, the Academic and Scientific Councils of the International American University awarded Mr. Le Huu Hung an Honorary Doctorate in Economics in recognition of his achievements, global vision, and long-term contributions to economic, social, and community development.

Originating in the 1960s, the family-owned cassava starch workshop of Mr. Hai Sai (real name Tram Kim Sai, commonly known as Le Van Cai) was established and developed across generations.
Mr. Le Huu Hung, the eldest son, together with subsequent generations, continued to expand the business while actively applying advanced technologies to production.
Located in Tay Ninh – known as Vietnam’s “cassava capital” – the region’s favorable conditions formed the foundation for the development of the Hung Duy brand.
Founded by Mr. Le Huu Hung, Hung Duy Import – Export – Trading – Technology – Transport Co., Ltd. was officially established, marking the birth of the “Red Horse” brand.
